Black Walnut Charcuterie
These handmade Black walnut charcuterie boards featuring Lake Michigan stones are unique, one of a kind and will be the conversation piece at your next get together! Petoskey stones included! Boards are handmade and custom designed with two pieces of black walnut and a river of Lake Michigan stones. The background is a translucent azure/blue epoxy resin or a color of your choice. We handwork each piece to bring out the natural beauty of the grain. We use a high quality crystal clear epoxy resin to embed items within our boards and the epoxy resin is used creatively to fill any knots/cracks in the wood.
Our boards are coated with food safe mineral oil to seal and protect the boards and finished with carnauba wax buffed and polished for a beautiful sheen.
These boards are completed with metal handles and non-slip rubber bumper feet.
Measurements are approx. 18 x 11 x .75".
This is a natural wood product. Just as in nature, every tree is different and every slab is different. Black walnut is beautiful with rich wood grains and different coloring on each and every board. Each board handmade in our shop is unique in it's own way, so you essentially have a one of a kind board made especially just for you. This product is made to order and takes 1 - 2 weeks to create before shipping. Please take this into consideration when purchasing. All my work is handmade, unique, original, and I guarantee you will love it.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Mineral oil acts as a water repellant, this oil will keep your board hydrated for longer periods of time. Oiling two times a month will keep your board healthy.
1. Use mineral oil or butcher block oil.
2. Leave the oil absorbed for at least six hours, for better results let it sit overnight.
3. Wipe off any remaining oil using a dry clean cloth.
4. Do not let your board get dry, lack of oiling results in cracks, warps, or splits.
5. AVOID any cooking oil (olive oil, canola oil, etc.) These oils can become rancid.
To cleqn lightly hand wipe with soap and water. Wood is a natural material and tends to expand and contract. Too much moisture is the cause of cracks and splits. We recommended you don't store the board until is completely dry.
